Kay is Assistant Vice President and Marketing Manager for LMI Agency, Inc., our wholly owned subsidiary commercial lines property and casualty insurance agency. While not limited to lawyers, the goal of LMI Agency, Inc. is to assist the lawyers of Maryland with their non-LPL insurance needs to compliment the services of Legal Mutual, and to grow in commission income in non-law related areas as well.

Kay is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Kay has over 25 years of insurance experience and originally handled the marketing operations of Legal Mutual since its inception until she was given the responsibility for LMI Agency, Inc. in July 2004.

Kay maintains a Maryland Insurance Administration Certificate of Qualification, Resident Agent Individual; a non-resident agent’s license for the District of Columbia and an Excess and Special Lines license. She is also active with the marketing arm of the National Association of Bar Related Insurance Companies (NABRICO) and is a volunteer participant in the Professionalism Course and a volunteer speaker for a variety of other MSBA and MICPEL courses.
