Karen is Claims Counsel for Legal Mutual and personally reviews all claims submitted to the Company.

In 1998 Karen received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees form the University of Delaware in English Literature and Women’s Studies. Karen has such credits to her name as Golden Key National Honors Society and Sigma Delta Tau English Honors Society. Upon receipt of her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2001, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Dana M. Levitz of the Circuit Court of Maryland for Baltimore County.

Karen was admitted to the Maryland Bar in December 2001 and was admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Maryland in November 2002. Prior to joining Legal Mutual in 2005, Karen practiced insurance defense litigation.
