2004 Annual Awards Reception

The Maryland Legal Services Corporation (MLSC) held its 2004 Annual Awards Reception at the Radisson Plaza Hotel, Baltimore Inner Harbor, Calvert Ballroom, 20 West Baltimore Street, Baltimore, Maryland, on Monday, December 6, 2004, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The 2004 MLSC Awards were presented to the following individuals for leadership in the provision of civil legal services and outstanding advocacy on behalf of Maryland’s poor:

The Arthur W. Machen, Jr. Award was presented to Robert J. Rhudy.

The Benjamin L. Cardin Distinguished Service Award was presented to Anne B. Gallagher.

The William L. Marbury Award for Outstanding Advocacy was presented to Patricia A. Campbell.

The Herbert S. Garten Public Citizen Award went to The Office of the Governor of Maryland and The Maryland General Assembly.

The new Maryland Legal Services Corporation Medal for Access to Justice was awarded to The Honorable Robert M. Bell.
